
We, Daiichi System Engineering, fully comply with the "Guideline for the Personal Information Protection at Telecommunication Business" (Announcement No. 570 from the Posts and Telecommunications Ministry dated December 2, 1998), "Act on the Personal Information Protection" (Japanese Law No. 57 dated May 30, 2003), and "Claims Postulated of the Compliance Program for Personal Information Protection" (JIS Q 15001).
We prepare the learning materials regarding the personal information protection and distribute them to all the employees and dispatched (contracted) employees. We provide trainings subjected to the employees or dispatched employees who handle the personal information at least once a year.
We maintain the internal regulations of the personal information protection, indicate a clear policy of handling the personal information, and familiarize the employees with severely approaching the personal information leakage.
We assign the “Personal Information Manager” and clarify its role, so that the manager could perform activities related to the personal information protection.
We keep check for the risk related to the personal information, and devise a proper countermeasure for information security regarding the fraudulent access, loss, falsification and leakage.
We review and improve the current subcontract for higher personal information protection. Upon concluding the business agreement, we fully evaluate the company’s qualification as a subcontract partner, and make the contractual coverage to be with high personal information protection.
We have a system with which we can audit the personal information protection in the office.
We properly collect, use, and offer the personal information considering the description and the scale of the business.
We continuously review and improve above activities 1 to 7 related to the personal information protection.
Regardless they are the employees of our customers, partner companies, or DSE, all the information related to the personal matters are subject of the Personal Information Protection, including the name, birthdays and other notes as well as any number or code, image or sound with which the individual could be identified. (It also includes the items with which we could not indentify the individuals alone, but could possible be verified with the other information easily and enable to identify the individual.) The principles for personal information protection would be applied to all the personal information that we possess.
